The Story
Self-taught. Family-built.
Imperial Barbershop opened in 2021 — built by a barber who moved to Seaside as a child in 2003 and taught himself the craft from the ground up: "I started with zero knowledge," learning from books and YouTube, with his wife's support behind every step.
He's the first in his family in this work, with Oaxacan roots and a simple plan: do right by every client, give back to the city that raised him, and build something the next generation can carry on.
Today the shop runs on word of mouth, social media and a perfect wall of five-star reviews. The chairs fill up — book ahead.
